Stringray stuck itself by old barb

Hi everyone,

Can anyone help what to do, I just found my stingray got stuck by his old barb around the mouth area.
What should I do now.

Please advise.

I’d suggest netting it and pulling out the barb. Does the area look red at all? Maybe a pic when netted.

Nets and use pliers to pull it out in one quick motion.

How deep in the ray is the stinger? If not in deep, it should work itself out. If deep you may have to remove it as above suggested.
