Striped Grouper???

I went to my local fish store and saw a fish that looked very interesting. The label said “Striped Grouper” it was about 4in long. I want to put it in my empty 100 gallon tank.Because I know they get BIG. Does any one know much about this fish.
New to saltwater any help would be appreciated.

Need a pic or a scientific name. Every coastal country (except Antarctica) has a fish they call a "striped" grouper. They range in size from about 10 inches to school bus size.
