I want to see if my experience is normal or unique. I've found that now that my three raphs are together, they will fly out and pounce on food anytime, day or night. Previously, when the one was alone, it was like pulling teeth to see him eat. They are hoovers at the moment. How do your raphaels act?

my raphael is inactive. in fact so inactive that i haven't even seen him eat since i introduced him to my tank, i know he's somewhere in there. and i know that he is alive and healthy.

i have two and they will come out to eat, but stay pretty well hidden otherwise

have 1 adult with my monsters hey is inactive but fat so i know he is eating i am growing another mate in a diff tank. How long will it take my little 2incher to get to 5-6 inches???

I have two, and they are fairly active. They come out for food no matter what time it is, but are fairly active anyways, though strangely they have become slightly less active since I moved them from the 33 into the 66.....

There's no exact answer. Some raphs have huge spurts and some grow slowly and steadily. A rough estimate would be about three years, but it could be sooner or later than that. I've had my longest-kept raph for about four years and he's only gained three inches in that time, to his current size of five inches.

This is going well. Helps to support the supposition that they are, indeed, more comfortable in groups. Anybody else?

mine just sits in his cave all day (even when we feed him) and only occasionally comes out at night. he's LAZY!:nilly:

i had one and never saw him except the two times i removed him from the castle he was stuck in. i now have 3 and they are extremely active. seems alot more comfortable with mates.
