striped raphael advice

Hi just wanted some advice on my talking catfish, she/he is around 8/9" has murky eyes (one of mine also had this previous) its in a 100 gallon with several smaller fish.
The problem (if it is a problem) is that its always out, always breathing very deeply/fast. at this very moment its sat on top of a large oval pot. It looks extremley stressed and yet swims around loads and seems very active, but as i said i feel it might be stressed? any advice?

I would change my substrate as soon as possible if i were you because of the abrasions on the cats underside. change to sand or a finer lass sharp substrate, what are the tank mates?

that what the day it arrived i have very rounded pea gravel
