do raphael catfish have stings?are they venomous if they have? i was suppose to buy yesterday but had second thoughts cause im scared of being stung. pls give me advice! thanks!

cats dont sting. they stab! lol. the have spikes on the leading edges of thier fins. and they are covered in bacteriea that which it hurt worse.
No stingers,no venom.If you like them then get one or two,you shouldnt have to handle them too much anyhow.
my bad...sorry for saying sting....so whats the worst thing that could happen if i get stabbed by those venomous fins?

I have moved them before and I just grab underneath them and pick them up. MIne never moves so really I could probaly take a net right to him and he would care less. They are lazy damn buggers.
nice technique! i'll buy 3 of those tommorow and try your technique, i hope it works for me!!! if not! i have to bear the pain! haha!! cause i'll put them first in a different tank and grow them to adult size and then put them into my main tank to join my other fishes.
