Striped Raphael growth rate

What is the growth rate for spotted Raphael? Or how long will it take them to reach 10"? My LFS has a 14"er with red belly piranhas and it looks really sweet. But he is a 24 year old trade-in. Is it possible to get a faster growth on them?

Mine is about 4 inches and for the past year and a half I've had him and got him at about a half inch. So I mean he's grown pretty nicely for what he is and how young he is from what I've been told. But this is a fish you will rarely see anyway mine has been hiding for like the last 6 months only occasionally do I catch a glimpse of him till I moved him into my 75 last week

They are slow grows and they vary from fish to fish some have crazy growth spurts and some eh...not so much. bigger tank always helps with a good protein diet.
