Striped Raphaels, fins crooked..

I rescued these guys from the LFS as they were in really rough shape.. Their skin was peeling off, white sploches all over their body, really skinny for a 4.5" raphael. One question I have is what causes their fins to get crooked like this?

I would guess poor diet, small tank and may be ill. Just generallly not kept/treated well.

Looks like he was chewed on! He will be fine, fatten him up with chopped night crawlers after the lights go out and give him a good hiding spot.

How are they doing now?

They are doing very well.. These little guys are PIGS.. I've had greedy raphaels in the past but this pair takes the cake.. They are not shy about coming out during feeding and constantly stealing other fishes food.. My red wolf gets quite annoyed with them.
