striped rapheal

hey guys i was just wondering does anyone elses striped rapheal stay half out of the water
mine stays with his head out of the water
i am afraid he is trying to commit suicide lol
is this normal

also do bumble bee cats grow fast i picked up a 1 and 1/2 incher for $3

Mine doesn't do that, although yours is a spotted raphael, not a striped raphael. It looks as if it's hiding, does it have a hiding spot at the bottom?

As for the bumble Bee cat it depends on the species, if you got it for around $2 it's probably the most common (forget the name) but they max out around 3-4 inches.

It is indeed a spotted raphael catfish. Add somewhere for it to hide at the bottom, and move the heater.
