Was at a LFS today and found a very special blood parrot. I'm calling it a Bonsai parrot! It has no caudal peduncle. Basically the tail is attached to the body between the dorsal and anal fin. Great looking fish. . . .to me anyway. The bonus is it's a female to breed to my male Bonsai flowerhorn! I'm so stoked! I'll post a pic or two tomorrow. She's settling in in a quarantine tank and eating like a pig

Wow that is a very short BP. Her mouth isn't too deformed either and I love how the fins wrap. Great pickup man!
Thanks! Yeah. The mouth is close to normal. I liked that as well. The tail is off to one side a little bit but that's fine by me. It would most likely not be able to fan out if it wasn't. I'll keep her in quarantine for a week or so then put her to work. Here is her future mate.
