A 75g with footprint 48"x18" weights about 850 lbs, how much pressure does it have on the floor in psf(pounds per square foot)?

You could say that it would spread evenly based on the footprint.

48 x 18 = 864, so right around one lb per square in. But this would assume that the tank has no trim and sits directly on the floor. You would have to figure out the measurements of the trim and/or what type of stand it is (including contact point measurements) to be a bit more precise.

ah thx, right now it sits directly on the floor, what if i add a 4-leg metal stand?

A four leg medal stand would be about the worse lbs/sqft you could have.

A wooden stand that had a flag plywood bottom would be about the best.

Would be right about 216lb per leg as just a rough guess for a metal stand.
