Whats good guys? My Ck is being stubborn and wont eat his shrimp. He was eating like a champ for the past month then i threw in a different type of shrimp now he wont eat. Did he get mad at me? LOL

Isn't eating.... That isn't any good, well first off, did you change anything? This could be bad news, how long since he has last eaten anything?

my old ck was a picky eater. it would only eat food sticks and no other type of pellet. it also would only eat market shrimp and mo other kind of sea food. it would take feeders if it felt ambitious enough to chase them down(which wasn't often). if it doesn't take the new food after a few weeks just go back to what it ate before. mine died a while back on a thanksgiving day at around 18".

fast him a little, 2-3 days with out eating, he may change his mind, just like when i was a kid, my mom would make somthing i didnt like and id complain and she would send me to bed without supper. the next morning i would walk into the kitchen expecting eggs.. and there was lastnights dinner.. cold with flies flying around it... that only happend a few times, i started loving dinner

my CK will eat fresh shrimp but once i tried the cheaper frozen cocktail shrimp and he wouldnt even try them.yours just might be a picky eater also so can go a couple days with no food till he eats them or stick with what he likes.

Let it go for a week and then try again. It's always good to get a variety in so they don't become too picky.

What happened is I tried the new shrimp, he didnt eat it. He eat the day before 3 shrimp that he has loved. Then I go, oh no :wall: and did a 50% water change. Tried today and no dice. And yeah the new shrimp Im pretty sure is a lower quality. Is $15 a month for a CK seem reasonable.

okay. Im cool with spending the $15. Its just that I have bought him frozen shrimp from walmart for a third of the price and i could buy more of it and he ate those suckers fine. Guess I gave him too good of a shrimp haha. But im going to stick with the ones he likes, he's worth it.

CK's are worth it, some are just picky eaters. Throw in a few feeders and turn off the lights...I'm sure he'll eat then

$15-$25 is what I was spending on my clown knife a month too
