Well had my kelberi since wed so still new to my tank. Previous owner only fed freeze dried krill he said something I wont. I use market prawns, tilapia, and massivore. Hope he learns to like one of these cause its what he is gonna get LOL. The mono ate and the azul has eyed it up where im confident next feeding he will be ready. the kelberi paid no mind to the food. This is more of a rant unless someone has some advice LOL

i have the same problem with a wild orino of mine.. wont even look at anything but feeders. im starving him as of now, well see what happens. i have starved him before with no success

this always happens with new pbass I add to my tank, don't worry though he'll come around especially if there are other bass in the tank eating in front of him LOL he sort of learns from the other fish in your tank.

my farm monos wouldn't eat anything but live feeders until I introduced my wild ones. The previous owner had them on freeze dried foods so they would take anything. After 3 feedings of raw market shrimp the farm boys joined in.

I have learned that Pbass learn by "group attraction", if others eat around them then they will aswell....Dont worry mike..If he doesn't eat i will take him off your hands....pbass also Lvoe the splashing of water to arouse there hungry behavior..Start slappin the shrimps at the top....Let us know

My bass once they started eating krill they stopped eating pellets so i think its going to be a little harder to get him to change food. But why dont you want to give him krill?

thanks joey makes me feel much better. the azul ate today but still not the kelberi but it showed more interest at least than last time

The kelberi was brought in at 15" from the wild. Then it went to megatanks where it would only eat feeders. Well it only ate once a month for a year because of that. Then mike from h20 had it and he started training it on freeze dried krill so it was starved for alittle longer learning. Took alittle bit for him to start eating for me to but i put alot of mass on him and he still isnt plump. I couldnt get him to eat anything else, never really tried either. Just happy to have it eat non-live
