Stuck uromastyx shed

Hey my uromastyx philbyi has had some shed stuck on his tail since June or before...what's your advice on getting it off

Can you give the lizard a soak in some shallow warm water? That would help loosen it

i was thinking that might not be the best option because of how he needs such low humidity

Thats the suggestion that your going to get for a difficult shedding. Try putting just his tail in the water, its only for a few minutes he won't be living in high humidty, he should be just fine.

Ensure the tail is completely dry after that, whorls and all. Otherwise, have fun with fungi.
