Stuck with ugly fish when I got a new tank

I ended up buying a really nice tank setup from a guy for only $350 with an enheim prefessional filter and ten double bubblers. Just the stuff that came with the tank alone took up a whole mini van :D. I ended getting the tank set up but the fish that came with it are horrible... Any suggestions on what I should do with Jack dempseys that look like they were mixed with parrot cichlids? There are also 3 blue gill and I know not to put them in a lake because it could possibly spread disease.

Hopefully you'll get lucky and someone here will want to take them off your hands, but if not then I would suggest trying either Craigslist or seeing if your LFS will take them as trade for different stock or supplies. What size home did your new fish come with?

those JD's look normal to me.

I also did not see any blue gill in that video.
 
^+1 Try to sell'em on here or to a LFS, aslo wondering what size tank it is:irked: Your probably going to have some aggression issues in the future..
 
I ended taking out the Blue Gill they had clout. I am basically getting rid of everything but the Dovii for now. The tank size is a 150 which was not a bad price for $350. I will post another video here in a few minutes showing some of the other fish.
 
Too bad you aren't closer, I would take some of them off your hands. :)
 
ya i liked the lab too, pretty much all of em looked good. the dempseys looked a little weird and i dont really like oscars. but u got a couple winners. nice dovii too there startin to grow on me
