Well, it worked. I knew the Oscar and sunfish would never leave any pellets for the L200, so I crammed a round of zucchini full of floating arowana sticks. Pow. Pleco got pellets. Just passing this on for those who can use it.
Stuff Aro sticks into zucchini for plecos in hungry tanks...
