I have had this 20 gallon tall tank set up in my living room for 3 months now. I have changed my mind so many times on what to put in this tank (go salt, brackish, or fresh) its rediculous. To keep costs down I would like to go brackish or fresh, but I could use some MFK help on what to add to it.

The tank is set up with a sand bottom, drift wood, sand stone, a few local river plants(snails hitched a ride), and one rubber nosed pleco (algea was starting to grow). Tank has an Aquaclear 30 HOB.

I'm basically open to anything folks. I usually have always had a species in mind for my tanks when I set them up but since I have moved I havn't been able to narrow it down to any particular fish.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Next time I stock my 20g, I'm definitely going to try and breed a pair of German Blue Rams.

Do you want to house whatever in it for life or would using it as a grow out tank work as well? If the latter then a couple of baby Polys (Bichirs). I just got my pair and they are awesome, I have them in a 20g to grow until they go in a big tank.
