Just though I'd share this little green terror like 2" at my lfs. I've kept them before and I really enjoyed my pair I would do it again in a heart beat. Right now I have a more docile community so in the near future I will. Came across this little guy though and so tempted

That's a nice looking fish! I wonder if he would keep his color as he gets older.

Cute! I picked up a baby one too at the lfs about a month and a half ago. He brings so much life to my 90 gallon tank. I think he is the smartest fish in there too. You stick your hand in there and he comes up and pauses like he is thinking about what you will do next.

I like the fact that he is boss of the rest in the tank and has a baby nuchal hump already. And yes his color should stay the same or better as long as your water is good and keep him healthy since his genes already look nice n he's tiny

Yes they can be beautiful fish, I had a pair 7 years ago and i enjoyed keeping them. They can get pretty nasty though live up to their names "terrors"

And people say you can't sex gt's till there big.
It's clear to see that is the dominant male of the tank.
Watch a group of young rivulatus long enough and you will soon spot the males.

He is gonna be alittle stunner when he is bigger. None of the GT at any local shops by me ever look that good. Gonna be a nice pickup for some one.

I even saw the other little male in the tank he was just as nice but not alpha bc his nuchal hump was lacking. Love these fish
