I dont now to much about discus (im in the process of trieing to get some) but whats so wrong with stunted discus???

Growth stunting is unhealthy because the fish's internal organs grow more then the fish's body. Usually the fish dies a premature death. It does not always outright kill the fish ( look up world' oldest goldfish who lived in a bowl), the fish may live a long life being seriously deformed.
