I've read this many times, but has anyone ever cut one open to find out if it's true or not.

I've cleaned & eaten alot of fish over the years, big ones, small ones, & have never seen anything of the sort.
I'm having trouble buying it, however, I'm open minded to the possibility.
If it's true, great, show the facts, otherwise lets put it to bed.
