Stunted gar help

I have a floridia gar. There was a span a while ago where he wouldn't eat for 2 weeks. He eventually ate and is now doing good but I'm afraid he might be stunted. How do I know if he is stunted or not?

2 weeks is not a big gap of time for them to go off food. Stunting will happen over long periods of time in a small tank.

How big is the aquarium that it's in, and how long have you had it? Also, what have you been feeding it, and how frequently have you been feeding it?

had the same problem with a florida gar before he ate normally until i added another gar
