a buddy of mine picked up a rbp 4-5 in. was kept in a 10 gal for a long time. If it's growth was stunted can this be reversed? Is it a rumor That fish can be stunted? He put him in a 29 gal for the time being.

hes probably screwed for life. its not a rumor. if he was in a 10 gallon for 6 months +, he probably looks deformed.
yeah,can probably add an inch or two to his growth with a bigger tank,strong current and proper maintenance,but will never reach the size of a well kept red.
