I bought a 9" rtgg from a lfs, they had three in a 90 gallon,said they had them a year, ive had it 5 months in my 180 and zero growth??? Eats and poops normal

Could be stunted, the rt is not the fastest grower. I have a gg and a rtgg, and the gg grows much, much faster. You may well find that yours is still growing, and if kept in a good sized tank, with good nutrition a good quality water, it may well start growing again
