Stupid fish

Okay, I have a full grown Copadichromis borleyi who is an idiot. He is so shy and he trys to get in between rocks that only 2 inch fish can get into... I finally got him happy and then he decided to switch sides of the tank into a tiny hole... So I moved him into the 120 away from his females he ignores. He then tried to get into too small holes again... so I rearranged the whole tank... Will post pics when done...

okay camera is dead... the charger in the bag is for the video camera...so I will pick the charger tomorrow and charge it for the shoots tomorrow afternoon... sorry for getting your hopes up...

Mine did the same type of thing for like 2 weeks, then slowly he got used to me, and now he never hids. Don't know why it happened. As you say Stupid fish. (I also lost an Protomelas sp. "Spilonotus Tanzania" from him hiding himself to death when he was the biggest fish in the tank.)

hey I said that I had to get the camera charger from my school... I am charging it while we do ISTEP now...

okay some rearranged tank pics... still waiting to get more tuffa rock to match other side over pots... Also added pics of the stupid fish... he will most likely go back to repairs...He has done this before and healed fine... but just did it again...

He is currently hiding somewhere safer...

I used to have a big peacock that did the same thing. I rearagnged the tank and took out most of the rocks but then he resorted to hidding behind the spraybar up at the top. He end up getting stuck up there one night and I found him dead the next morning wedged behind the spray bar. I think he was bullied in the tank at the fish store and developed this habbit to protect himself and never changed. BTW Nice tank but 2 words......algea scraper

hH shouldn't be hiding unless he's living in absolute fear. I think he'll stop once he feels safe. I hope he does soon. looks like he's got some great color on him!
