Stupid Gourami....The ostrich!

Here are a couple of pics of one of my Red-tailed Giant Gouramis. He's done this constantly since being introduced to my tank. After he eats, he goes and hides his face into the decor like and ostrich would put its head in the sand and stays there with his body hanging out. That's all fine and good, however, when someone else in the tank startles him, he freaks out and ends up scratching the heck out of himself while making a mad dash, rearranging the furniture in the process, LOL. Enjoy!

That is weird. he was always out swimming around in my tank. Never seen it hide before.

What u feed it? I t really like fresh romaine lettuce. I love watching it devour veggies

It gets various greens and veggies (all the RTGG get to them before the plecos do, LOL), pellets, shrimp, squid, etc. I try to fill them up on veggie matter before the meaty stuff goes in for the rest of the tankmates.
