Are you sure they didn't just put the picture of the asian arowana just to make the site look prettier?

I agree with PhongTran1. Alot of lfs will put up a photograph of a 1st class looking fish to better their own advertising. How well do you know this vendor/site. Have you had dealings with them prior to now?

If the store is only an hour away from your home, I would go and see the Arowana first, before I bought it. They are remarkable fish, and give back hours of entertainment and enjoyment if cared for properly, but first you MUST ensure the fish they advertise is what they have at the shop. Some lfs can be decieving, and caution in purchasing is highly advised. Maybe take your parents with you, should any problems arrise through the transaction. Hope things work out okay for you with this endeavor.

I seen that picture before in the internet. Do a search about red arowana and more or less you should bump into it in google some how.:D

I've been to that store a few times, really nice... if your a reef tank/SW hobbyist. If that is the casse theuy are the best salt store around. The freshwater is comparable to lets say Petland. None of those pictures are of their own freshwater fish.

Yeah, I figured that was the case. I wasn't planning on buying it, I just wanted to know for my own personal curiosity. Thanks for the help!
