Sturgeon Pellets

Hi,

It has been suggested to me on a general fish forum to feed my lungfish Sturgeon pellets.

Has anyone any experience feeding pellets designed for cold water fish, to tropical fish?

I'm feeding those pellet's 4 years now. Never have any isues.I don't feed them every day. I throw them in from time to time. Every 4-5 days or so. My plecos and catfish loves them. I noticed increased gow rate of plecos when started to feed those. I know 1 guy who have bigest pleco i have seen in my life. He is 27'' :) This guy tell me for this pellets.
Brand = Tropical - Sterlet

Sturgeon pellets are typically very high in crude fat content, far too high for most tropical fish to consume on a regular basis. The potential end result of that type of diet will be oversized/obese fish, with a heavy deposition of fat in & around the organs, and a decreased lifespan.

I have ordered a small container

I will feed a small portion every 10 days or so just as a supplement
 
Great decission. Its just secondary food.
1 kg last me whole year. 35+ fish :)
throw 3-4 pellets every 10 days.
Let us know after some time if you can see some faster grow rate. :)
