Has anyone kept a sturgeon with their RTC and/or TSN? I know sturgeons are bottom feeders but do sturgeon stick to the bottom or do they hang out in higher parts of the tank most of the time?

a tropical fish and a cold water fish
both fish are kept in discomfort :)

ive kept a sturgeon before ^^ in the morning they usualy stay at the bottom but at night they tend to put their Nose up on the side of the aquarium ^^ for my part feeding is difficult

Shouldn't be done. I'm sure they wouldn't really be bothered by eachother (other than young sturgeon never stop moving...) but the warmest water sturgeon is a Sterlet and they should NOT be kept above 72*F and for the longevity and happiness of the sturgeon shouldn't be kept at that temp for long periods of time.
They need cool water and LOTS of oxygen. Cool idea, but I wouldn't try it. I have mine in with my coldwater natives.
However, if you'd like to keep a sturgeon in with a large cat, Stugeon and Channel Cats get along well. And a sterlet with some albino channels is a cool mix.

I forget who's pic this is...but..

That looks like a baby shark in the RTC's mouth.

I don't think it would work, because they are on opposite ends of the temperature spectrum.

Oh yeah... another thing to think about is that sturgeon are VERY slow growers... unlike Channels RTC and TSN. So I'd make sure the sturgeon are bigger than your cats.
