We need a pic dude! Or a latin name at least. I've been told that is begging for food behavior, at least in young fish that are used to being fed on the surface.

Try something a bit more substantial. Live earth worms or some fresh clam. Most frozen aquarium food isn't as nutritious as most believe.

Well, if they are getting plenty of good food then water quality come to mind. At what temps are you keeping them, pH, hardness, ?

i change water 30-40% every 5 days...ph maintain 6.5-7.0...temps between 27-28'c...sometime might gain to 29-30'c...ammonia rate is 0...ok not;)

Temperature is a little high for most sturgeon, low 20's would be much better. pH should be closer to 7.0 or 7.2, no lower than 6.8 if at all possible. I would try adding a little bit of arragonite gravel to the filter. Just me on the hardness and pH, they normally come from neutral to slightly alkaline hard water but they are adaptable. The temp is my main concern. Shovelnose sturgeon can do ok at around 25 or 27 much higher and you start getting into unknown territory for sturgeons. I am assuming 0 for ammonia and nitrites.

thx for ur info...my water temps a little high juz bcoz im lived in tropical zone...our day time temps average 29-33'c...& night time ard 25'c...so that water a bit warm:)i'll maintain ph 6.5-7.0 due to housing 'em in community tank with other tankmates like chinese hi-fin loach...spoonbill...electric catfish...bichir...stone fish...dolphin fish...up side down catfish...esox etc...big family members...right:D

We have something in common for sure, my taste in fish is every bit as eclectic as yours. I would love to see pics of your tank and fishes. What is the spoonbill? I'm not familiar with that name. being in a tropical place is problematic for sturgeon, there is a reason sturgeon are not naturally found in tropical areas. Warm water just isn't their thing. If you are lucky enough to have a shovelnose sturgeon (Scaphirhynchus platorynchus) and you maintain a high oxygen concentration they just might be long term captives for you. How big is your tank?
