Tomorrow, I'm taking my 75 back to petsmart to be replaced. There are large amounts of bubbles forming where two pieces of glass meet. They seem to be growing. I've only had it since December, so this really sucks.

When I set up my wrought iron stand, I got it as level as I could using pieces of flat wood under the legs. I've been reading that some people put styrofoam or some other material between their aquariums and stands to prevent stress. Is this necessary if the aquarium has a plastic base? Will styrofoam work for a wrought iron stand? Can I easily get the thickness of styrofoam I need from someplace like Home Depot??

Also how do you prevent the styrofoam from moving while positioning the aquarium? I was thinking of tapeing it to the stand.

Thanks

it just helps cushion the tank and kinda helps with self leveling.

it isnt needed but wouldnt hurt

.5"-1", you can buy 4x8' sheets of exterior house panels at Lowe's / Home Depot and use it, it isn't exactly Styrofoam but it works the same.
