I have a 50-gallon sump and an Eheim 2262 on my 300 gallon tank and I was running a Quiet One 6000 (1506 gph) submersible pump, but the shaft broke, so it no longer works. I have a 2200 pump running it temporarily. I could just order a new impeller for it, but I'm not sure if that would include everything I need. I can take pictures of it tonight if need be. I was looking at ordering a new pump, but money is really tight right now and it seems like they've gone up in price and I didn't want to spend over $100 right now (cheapest I can find is $135 shipped from Big Al's). I know they're not the best pumps out there, but they are, at least they were, at a good price point. I can't drill the tank since it's tempered, so I can't go with an external pump. Any suggestions on other pumps or where I can find these cheaper? I know about the Danner Mag-Drives, but they cost more. I need something that can be used with my 1" return hose. Thanks in advance.
