Im setting up a 225 wide and im down to figuring out what I need for a sump pump. A mag drive 24 would be nice but I would like to save some cash. From the sump to the tank is about 4ft, im wanting around 2000gph after head loss. Any pump or brand suggestions? If it comes down to it and I have to spend the money I will. I also have no problem running two or more pumps.

i love mags. you get what you pay for man...

Was cruising around ebay earlyer and found this pump, its a pondmaster pump but not sure how well it performs. Anyone have any experience with these style pumps?

Looks like a standard old cheap pond pump. If you want flow with efficiency, I'd look into the Reeflo brand pumps. There's a guy selling a Dart pump for $100 used right now. His name is VIP Fish. These are normally $300+. Great pump and really quiet.

I thought the Reeflo pumps were external? Im only able to use a submersible.

I took it as you were looking for a pump for your sump, my fault. Go with the Mag Drive pumps. They are quality pumps.
