substrate change - gravel to sand

i decided i wanted a change and hadent used sand as a substrate in any of my tanks before so i decided to do a change today.

first i went out to the LFS and got 25kg of sand, then i had to clean the sand so i did so for 3 and a half hours.

heres what the sand looked like after during the first rins.

3 and a half hours later the sand has been washed and put into bags ready to go into the tank.

now the tank is full with water all the fish are in and are fine ill have some pics of the tank with new substrate up soon for now i leave you with a tank shot from before

yeah its a pain to rinse sand but you dont have to do it that often lol.look at that jag oh my.
