Substrate for rays

Would small pea gravel work with a stingray?
Or is sand or barebottom the only way to go with them?

As long as its smooth and not round, it should work.

Pea gravel usually is small round gravel so should be fine ive used it with rays

i used to use the very small round pea gravel with mine. they loved it.
just make sure it is the smooth round type and its great. the stuff i used to get has been replaced buy stuff more like smashed up bits which is rubbish now.
