I was at Petco and I found this soil/peat moss type substrate in a big bag with some water in it for about 30 bucks per bag. I had already bought sand for super cheap for my turtle tank but I was planning on getting some hardier plants to put in there, so I was wondering if it would be worth it to buy the plant substrate? I was also thinking about just mixing it with the sand, since I like the look of the sand and the plant substrate is quite expensive.
