I have exhausted the resources I can find, and it's killing me. I have some bare bottom tanks while I am in search of just the right stuff. If anyone in the northern Va area can help me, I've been to garden stores, super pets, Vienna aquarium, Leslie's pool supply, rental companies, sandblasters, etc, but I have come up empty. I'm looking the substrate in this thread (JK47's).

I am looking for confirmed sightings. I need a few hundred lbs. of it

Let me take a pic of my PFS sand tonight as mine looks pretty much the same as his. It is tan in appearance bit a few black and brown bits almost giving it some depth. I got it at my local Leslies in Exton, PA.

Will shoot you a pic tonight though so you can see.

Awesome, thanks. The leslie's here had very light colored sand. I was looking for something darker and more natural looking so I passed on it.

A pic would be great, thanks!

Good thing you posted to remind me. HA HA.

Here is a pic fo you with some drift wood and another with a bit of plant in the background to give you some reference. It is darker then the pic makes it out to be in person as my LEDs and the flash on the camera brightened it up some. That said looking at the pic above and mine, mine is a bit lighter. I cant quite tell though if the tank in the pic above is brightly lit though as it looks pretty dark and that could make the sand look darker.
