I've got PFS in atm in my 125g. I just really don't care for it as much as I thought I would, I've always used some type of black blasting media in the past.. black beauty/black diamond/etc

What would be the best way/method of transitioning from one to the otehr? Complete removal at one time? 50% one week, 50% another?

A little off topic, but you have used black beauty as a substrate?! howd it work out?

as for the removal of your active sub to a different, id go slow, maybe 25% a week? so you don't screw with your bacteria culture?
