So I really want to get rid of my gravel and use sand but I dont want the hassle and risk to my filters. So is there anything out there that is like really really coarse sand that can still be gravel vac'd? Im looking for something that is heavy enough to not get sucked into filters or easily siphoned out. If there is such a thing where would I get it?

crushed quartz used in pool filters. pool supply store $7-10 50# bags.
