im thinking of having a hi fin red banded goby in my12 g nano. how deep does the subtrate have to be and what kind.

2-3" more if you'd like. but with a 12 gallon tank you don't want 6 gallons of sand, lol
aragonite works just fine for my smaller gobies
but i like the look of oolite (sugar sand) better
