What type of subtrate is best for C/A Cichlids? I was thinking of doing white sand and lime stones for my new Dovii. Right now I have crushed coral and a small amount of lime stone. What do you guys think?

I'd do a more natural color sand if your gonna use limestone. White would be too bright and might cause the fish to "wash out" color wise. I typically do darker colors to help prevent that effect. If you can find a darker limestone that helps also.

I find that a dark, or black sand will make a fishes colours POP more.

I use pool filter sand in mine and it really toned down my Dovii's color. Try to find some darker sand, I plan on eventually switching over to black or a charcoal color.
