Finally on our third attempt...we have fry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I counted 65, but surely there are more:) They are now free swimming..... :headbang2 :woot: :headbang2

Good luck with the fry. Unfortunately, raising them up can prove to be problematic on account of their microscopic size and relatively slow growth rate. Do you have anything smaller than brine shrimp to feed? Please do let us know how you do!

Congrats! Your adventure is just beginning - the fry are fragile and apparently very tasty. I use Hilari First Bites (finely powdered food) to get mine started. Good luck!

Good luck with the fry! I have heard of many breeders using 'Golden Pearls' to feed ram fry in the initial days. The GP's are microscopically manufactured food which contain a variety of ingredients for fry growth.

i use microworms.

well done on breeding the rams, this is no easy task. i take it you have a low PH

By yellow lab do you mean Labrador? That would take a big tank.

You should post pics of fry. Rams are going to be my next purchase but I can't get parameters right. Water is too hard.
