Obviously there has been a surge of beani in the hobby lately. Initially I purchased a couple small fish, around two inches, but sold them because I did not feel like they were worth the large amount of money I paid for them, especially since there are numerous reports of beani being hard to raise until they are three or four inches in length. However, now captive bred beani are available at relatively low prices from a couple sources, so I was wondering, has anybody had success raising beani from one or two inches in length past the supposed three inch barrier?
