I got the ray 5 days ago. He's a motoro and cost me 135 pounds ($ 210). After 11 days without a w.c I was curious to check the nitrite, nitrate and ammonia as well as the pH. The nitrite, nitrate and ammonia levels were all under 0.2mg/ltr and the pH was 7.5. Apart form the pH I'd say its all fine, what do you think? The ray is beautiful and loves frozen bloodworms as well as liver river shrimp, similar to ghost shrimp though much cheaper. He's getting on well with the rest of my fish. I also bought a EHEIM 1250 and I'm setting up a sump with the Hygrophila difformis I've ordered online which are apparently good at removing nitrate and nitrite in the water. Unfortunately I can't seem to find the water hyacinth that firemedic uses. Thanks all from my last thread and check out some of firemedic's threads
