So, after an agonizing return to fish keeping, I finally have a success with a tank that's inhabitatns like living, after getting tips on cycling ands stuff on here.
I also decided to pain the back, sides and bottom with black paint (blue on the bottom) and it makes the tank look way more amazing than it did beforehand.
The tank has a Murray Cod in it, who has gone from about 2 inches to close to 4 within a few weeks. I am finally happy.
THis first picture is just to show how the black paint brings out the tank. My phone made it very hard to get a good picture, so I may search for an actual camera tonight.
This second picture is of the tanks inhabitant, a Murray Cod called "Tank" unfortunatley for a while he will keep himslef concealed in this snag until he develops a big enough size to feel safe. Although he does venture out more than expected, I think it is because having a darker tank surrounding makes him feel more camoflaged.
This last picture is just something I drew in paint, I thought I would add it in due to the fact that I do not have many pictures in this post. It is me, dressed as Elvis, versing Hitler in a lightsaber battle on top of a volcano.
