How long have you been able to keep one? What size did you get it and what size did it grow too? I will be setting up a 125g grow out tank for 3 limas, black aro and a tigrinus. I'm trying to get a feel for how long I can house them in the 125g.

You keep them by themselves ...totally alone
You use massive filtration including chemical filtration (purigen AND bichemzorb AND Nitrazorb)
You feed them a variety of foods about 3 times a week (live blackworms, nitecrawlers, small fish, prawns, shrimps)
You have STRONG current of at least 10 times tank volume and massive aireation.
You change religiously 150% of the water each week in 3 x 50% batches.
You keep the temp at 27-28c
Do this and you can keep them for safe and well.
I've had mine for many years now and they are both around 24".
If you don't want to do ALL of the above .... then all bets are off they will probably get to about 18" and die like most tigs do.
