Clear for Life Rectangle 300 Gallon Acrylic Aquarium - Fresh or Saltwater (mireyakelau.com)

Seriously, is anyone this stupid? What's scary is that this appears to be a legit site. Guess shipping is $5,000...and just who are these dopes in Virginia that bought a 300 gallon acrylic tank for less than a hundred bucks????? Must be all scratched up or full of holes/cracks...maybe they supply the glue so you can put it together yourself :screwy:

The Manufacturer probably listed $97.44 price to lure people to their site. Notice they stated 20 gallons to 300 gallons.

Yes, to try and tempt you they quote a low low price, and then always put "from" in the mix. So to that end you'd think that the sub $100 price would indeed be for the 20g tank maybe.

But no, not in this case. The dimensions of the tank, and the price, are all there plain as day. Those prices are indeed for a 300g tank, which is absolute nuts.

And the fact that they offer "free shipping worldwide" (highlighted in green at the top) means that the whole thing has got to be, no doubt about it, some kind of a scam.

There is also a slight price difference between the "clear", "sapphire blue" and "black". And if you buy more than one you get 10% discount on the second!! Lol. crazy.com.

Yeah, I love the ad copy: "We Free Shipping Worldwide" :uhoh:

And to reply to the original question: Yes, there is a small percentage of people who are this stupid. But, all it takes is for a tiny fraction of a percent of people who see this to respond to this and send in money...and the scammers have a roaring success! And then, the amount of money is small enough to limit the amount of effort they will put into recovering it.

I probably receive 30 phone calls per day. Virtually all of them are scammers trying one line of BS or another to either get me to send them money, or...worse yet...to give them personal info which will make it possible for them to simply take money!

The address listed on their website doesn't exist so definitely a scammer.

I figured out why the tanks are so cheap...it's 1/128" thick! So sign me up...who knew you could get big acrylic cheap outside of California??? :hypnotize

I'm with yall, but I always wonder with these whether someone's actually getting a 300g tank for some stupid deal. After all they sell those tanks on wayfair which is the company that sent me two free couches.
