sudden death

iuno why but this happened to me twice, my ntt just died out of no were i found both of them with their mouths wide and gills flared...but im my most recent ntt died i found it the same way but i noticed his belly kinda bloated..i though it probly had to much to eat..im just woundering why the died

the big one is from to day and the one on the bottom was from a few months ago (thas y its freezer burned) please help!!!
 
Ntt have been known to suffer from ' sudden death syndrome'
if your other tigers are fine, I doubt there was much u could have done.

I know I have down this road..I lost about 5 Ntt's until i figured out how to save them..As soon as I notice the heavy breathing, i took them out, put in qt tank, and treated with mardel coppersafe, and it worked..I have saved 4 of my ntt's by doing this.

do u know if copper safe would effect the other fish if i cant put it in a QT...i (have no heaters for my extra tanks) thanks for your advice

im currently QT my tank with 3 NTTs and 2 ATs with coppersafe.
im not seeing any effect on any fish.
