hey everyone this is only my second thread on here so bare with me
i have been breeding angelfish for many yrs now and have never seen what i have going on now
i have lost 3 sets of breeders as of now what ever this is is quick and seems to really hit the
females, the males seem to pull through it pretty decent
symptoms are this: fish stop eating, become lethargic, darting, rapid gill movement, banging into things
like there blind,white stringy poo
meds given: general cure API didn't work, did the metrodazinal 7 day treatment 25%water change in between treatments,
jungle cure parasite,melaflex
of course these were done with time in between to see if treatment worked
so i'm stumped

Can you post information about your setup (tank size & filtration), frequency & amount of water change, and water parameters (nitrate, nitrite, PH, KH, GH, Ammonia) for both your tap & tank, what test kit you use, the food you feed.

I know that's a lot of questions, but quite often it's helpful to have so that others can offer advice with more information on hand rather than guessing.

the tank size is a 20 gallon tall bare bottom, drift wood, filtration is an aqueon 20-30 hang over.
ph runs high here with no ro system so i'm around 79-82, ammonia tested at lfs tested in range
nitrite nitrate was all good since its bare bottom kh gh no clue what that is never tested for it
water changes are 25% once a week 50% every 2 weeks, food is tetra from lfs, water conditioner is nutrafin plus

I know nothing about angels. Send AQUANERO A PM

I would highly recommend that you get an API master test kit to keep track of your tank parameters; in fact, it's on sale on Amazon.com for 34% off the regular price which may be cheaper with shipping than some pay at a LFS
