Hey,
This morning i had 2 armano, and 4 cherry shrimp, all perfectly and healthy cleaning away.
I decided i wanted to plant my tank, (a 35l arcadia arc tank) so i went out and bought some plants from my LFS.
I carefully planted some swords, java fern and a few unknowns. Doing so stirred up some of the JBL aquabasis substrate below my sand.
I then did a small water change, maybe 10-15%, with dechlorinated water.
2 hours later all the shrimp are dead, apart from one armano which is keeled over on one side looking like its trying to run a marathon.
What did i do wrong? Did the substrate poison them?
I'm baffled.
Thanks for any respone
Rob
