Hi guys

I have these two 4" unsexed Jags who were always bickering. Then one fine day a little rearrangement of the decor (for someother purpose altogether) turned them into friends and I even find them digging a pit once in a while.
So, can I now be relieved that I have a true breeding pair of Jags with me ? Also, one of the Jags has more of tiny little spots (which I presume is the male), whilst the other has very few but big spots running along the length of the fish (which is presume is a female).
And, their only other companion is a Bumblebee Catfish.

So guys, please confirm if my assumptions are right :)

i dont know about the sex, i couldnt tell ya, post a picture and you'lkl have a better chance.. but moving around the decor of the aquarium takes away the dominance of one fish sometimes... now they moth need a new preferred spot, so they havent developed a perimeter to fight for yet.. keep me posted i may be wrong...:banhim:

Hi AquataHolic420
Thanks for the reply, and I shall try to surely get a pic or two of my Jags very soon.
Also, I feel your smiley a little misplaced :) unless I am failing to understand a certain protocol that MFK already follows ... lol

no i dont know why but i always seem to click that banhim...:banhim: more of a ban me... but yea. i miss my jag he was a good fish, until my damn log crushed him somehow... keep me posted on the Managuense... pleeeease and thank u

from what i've read, you got yourself a breeding pair i believe. males with smaller spots and females with big blotchy spots across the lateral line. have fun =]
