Suffered my first loss since the begining...lil' bummed

I came home today to find one of my Parrots at the bottom. He was pretty large, around 7". Had him for about a year or so. Noticed my Senegal sneaking a couple snacks as I was taking the parrot out. I am assuming it was old age being that my parameters were good.Here he is...

Chris, I have no idea. My ammonia levels are high as heck. I went away on vaca and came home, everything was fine. I cleaned 2 of 3 filters and changed some old plastic plants.

The same way Ive been doin it for years, with the tank water. I have to get some CYCLE or QUICKSTART to eat the ammonia. Ive been doing WC's every day...doesn't really lower it very much.

Did you gravel vac? Maybe you son overfed and the bottom is filled with old food?
